The Pre-training Operation at HIghview involves training of up to 25 horses at any one time. Primarily horses are broken in, educated, and then trailled and sold. A limited number are raced for clients on request. The number of horses in training is reduced during the Yearling Preparation so that staff have time to spend with Yearlings as well as racehorses.
Highview has it's own track of 1150m, a walker and barriers to jump out horses. The majority of our training is done here with occassional fast work at Waipa Racecourse. Enquires welcome.
