Highview

Brent and Louise welcome  you to visit the picturesque Highview Stud located on the outskirts of Hamilton. The Stud specialises in pre-training and agistment of mares and younger bloodstock. Feel free to contact the office for further enquiries or to arrange an appointment time to visit.

When travelling from Auckland or North turn off at Ngaruawahia directly after the BP Service Station. Cross the railway line and turn immediately left. Follow this road until you come to Te Kowhai village. Keep travelling through this village and on to Whatawhata village. Here you will reach a stop sign with the petrol station on your left. Drive straight ahead onto SH39. Travel about 8 or 9 km until you see Highview and the stunning stone entrance way. Welcome to Highview.

Proceed to Hamilton city on SH1.After driving through Hillcrest and past the Hamilton Rose Gardens you will cross the  Cobham Drive Bridge. Turn left at the first set of traffic lights  then go straight ahead at next set until the roundabout with the BP petrol station on the left. Veer left here passing Melville Intermediate school on your left. At next lights turn right into Collins Road. A group of shops will be here. Proceed  along Collins Road approximately 8 km until the intersection then turn left into Tuhikaramea Road and travel to the end. Turn left at the stop sign into Kakaramea Road (SH39). Highivew is 1km on the left.

If you are to visit Highview leaving from Hamilton city, drive from the city centre to the Dinsdale roundabout on the west side of the city. At the roundabout turn into Tuhkaramea road with the Shell petrol station on your right and the Video Store on the left. Drive about 10 km to the very end of this road passing through Templeview on your way. When you reach a major intersection at the end sign posted Kakaramea Road, turn left. Travel 1km to the end of the straight where you will see the Highview stone entrance way as in the photos. Welcome to Highview.
