Merry Christmas from Highview Stud

11 December 2009

Stronger prices in both the Keeneland and Tattersalls auction rings sales recently certainly bode well for the New Zealand National Yearling Sales series in February.

There has been a noticeable upturn in the UK bloodstock market and with our yearling sales at Karaka fast approaching this could not have come at a better time. It will certainly give vendors a welcome boost of confidence and something to look forward to as they add the finishing touches to their yearling drafts in the final countdown to Karaka.

Another breeding season is all but over and we sincerely thank all those broodmare owners who supported our stallions – Danroad, Align and Kashani – this year. Each of these stallions continue to make their mark as sires with their progeny performing with a great deal of credit week in, week out on the racetracks of Australasia and the Asian region.

Highview has a draft of 23 strongly grown and attractive yearlings for February’s round of sales at Karaka and we welcome your inspection of our line-up. Contact us any time to organise a visit to the farm.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our clients, staff and their families an enjoyable festive season and the best of fortunes for 2010.
