Highview was first represented at the National Yearling Sales in 1986. Since then another 35 crops of yearlings have been reared and sold annually at the Sales. 

Over the years Highview has built up an enviable reputation of producing outstanding yearlings that have gone on and performed with distinction on the race-tracks of the world.

The farm won the coveted NZ Breeder of the Year Award in 1991, a year that included breeding the winners of the Melbourne Cup, VRC Oaks, Brisbane Cup, Australian and Caulfield Cups. 

In 2018, we achieved a new record price for a yearling sold by the stud,  $525,000 for the Snitzel x Make Me Dream colt, that was knocked down to Good Harvest Bloodstock, operated by Hong Kong trainer Benno Yung.
